Multilayer Printed Circuit Boards from China - Top Suppliers & Reliable Factory for Your Electronic Needs

The multilayer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is an essential component in modern electronic products, widely recognized for its ability to house complex circuitry within a compact design. These multilayer boards, often produced by top suppliers and factories in China, consist of multiple layers of insulating substrates connected by conducting wires and solder pads. They serve not only to conduct electrical signals across layers but also provide electrical insulation between them.

A multilayer PCB typically features configurations such as one double-sided inner layer paired with two single-sided outer layers, or two double-sided inner layers with two single-sided outer layers. This intricate design allows for the efficient interconnection of components through carefully designed conductive pathways, making them a reliable choice for varied applications. As a leading manufacturer, we ensure that our multilayer PCBs meet the highest standards of quality and performance, catering to the needs of the electronics industry globally.

    Characteristics of PCB Multilayer Board
The biggest difference between a multi layer PCB board and a single or double panel is the addition of an internal power layer (maintaining the internal power layer) and a grounding layer. The power and ground network are mainly wired on the power layer. However, multi-layer board wiring is mainly based on the top and bottom layers, supplemented by the middle wiring layer. Therefore, the design method of multi-layer boards is basically the same as that of double-sided boards, and the key lies in how to optimize the wiring of the internal electrical layer to make the wiring of the circuit board more reasonable and have better electromagnetic compatibility.

The difference between a double-sided PCB board and a single-sided PCB board is that the single panel circuit is only on one side of the PCB board, while the circuit of a double-sided PCB board can be connected between the two sides of the PCB board with a through hole in the middle.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
QWhat is the main difference between a multilayer PCB and single or double-sided boards?
The primary difference is the addition of internal power and grounding layers. Multilayer boards utilize these internal layers for power/ground network routing, while signal routing is mainly done on the top and bottom layers, supplemented by middle layers.
QHow does a double-sided PCB differ from a single-sided PCB?
A single-sided PCB has circuits on only one side. In contrast, a double-sided PCB features circuits on both sides, which are interconnected through holes (vias) in the middle of the board.
QHow many layers can AREX manufacture for multilayer PCBs?
AREX provides 4 to 22 layers as standard, up to 30 layers for advanced configurations, and up to 40 layers for prototype projects.
QWhat materials are used in manufacturing these multilayer boards?
We utilize high-performance FR4, halogen-free FR4, and low-loss/low-Dk materials to ensure superior electrical properties and reliability.
QWhat surface finishes are available for multilayer PCBs?
Available finishes include HASL (SnPb), LF HASL (SnNiCu), OSP, ENIG, Immersion Tin, Immersion Silver, Electrolytic gold, and Gold fingers.
QWhat are the minimum mechanical and laser drilling sizes?
The minimum mechanical drill size is 0.20mm. For laser drilling, the standard minimum is 0.10mm, with advanced capabilities reaching down to 0.075mm.
