China Multilayer PCB Suppliers: Trusted Factory Partnerships for High-Quality Circuit Boards

The multilayer PCB segment plays a crucial role in our production capabilities. To bolster this key area, we have established enduring partnerships with a diverse range of suppliers in China. Each factory is meticulously chosen during our sourcing process to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. By collaborating with top-tier factories, we are committed to providing superior multilayer PCBs that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

    What is a Multilayer PCB?

    Multilayer Printed Circuit Boards

It is a PCB made with three or more conductive copper layers. The conductive foil appears to be various layers of a multi-sided circuit board. The different inner layers are processed in pairs (on a core) and then bonded together using prepreg as the insulating layer. The layers are then placed in such a way that both sides of the PCB can be used to mount components with additional tracking/electrical connections on the inside of the board. Vias are used as a source of the electrical connections between the different layers of a multilayer PCB.

Many products use multilayer PCBs, including computers, medical equipment, in-car systems, GPS and satellite systems, industrial control systems.

    Product Service

Nothing affects the PCB’s cost and quality as much as the initial design. As modern electronic products are expected to offer more and more advanced functions, while the products themselves are becoming smaller and smaller, this puts greater demands on the PCB design and the importance of making the right choices at the design stage.

More than 30% of the Gerber data packs we receive do have some issues, generally, ambiguous information, errors, design rule conflicts, missing information and contradictions between the data and specifications. To prevent that it gets wrong from the start, we have put together these design guidelines, to use as a checklist.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q What is a multilayer PCB and how does it work?

A multilayer PCB is a printed circuit board made with three or more conductive copper layers. The inner layers are processed in pairs on a core and bonded together using prepreg as insulation. Vias serve as electrical connections between the different layers to allow components to mount on both sides.

Q What is the layer count capability of AREX multilayer PCBs?

AREX offers 4 to 22 layers for standard technical specifications, up to 30 layers for advanced technology, and up to 40 layers for prototype board runs.

Q What materials are used in manufacturing these multilayer PCBs?

We use high-performance FR4, halogen-free FR4, and low loss / low Dk materials to ensure reliability and meet diverse application requirements.

Q Why is the initial design phase so critical for PCB manufacturing?

The initial design heavily dictates the final PCB’s cost and quality. Making the correct choices during this phase ensures the board can support advanced functions in smaller sizes without design rule conflicts.

Q What are the common issues found in Gerber data packs?

Approximately 30% of received Gerber data packs contain issues such as ambiguous details, errors, design rule conflicts, missing information, and contradictions between the data and specifications.
